Review of Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Great college town, but not cheap
Star Rating - 1/2/2021
Between my wife and I, we've lived in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill, and it's Chapel Hill we prefer. Franklin Street is always lively with an eclectic mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants, and UNC brings arts, sports, and top-tier healthcare. For anything else you might need, the other triangle cities are within easy driving distance. It is an expensive town though, with high housing costs and property taxes. The local economy also revolves around UNC, but there are many commuters into RTP.
