Review of Elma, Washington

Centrally Located
Star Rating - 6/10/2007
Elma is centrally located between the state capitol Olympia, WA and the Cities of MOntesano and Aberdeen. It is also only 80 miles from Seattle and Ocean Shores. Elma is not in a tsunami zone and many of the homes are early 1900's. There is alot of property for sale and lease for development. I personally would like to see business come and invest here. But beware, residents like the small town feeling and huge change could bring stark resistance to economic growth. There is public transportation to all of the cities I mentioned above, and by the way the scenery is BEAUTIFUL! Forests, mountains, lakes and rivers, open spaces, no traffic, its a great place to live.

Hi Sarah, thank you for the informative review. I'm from Texas and looking to buy a property in Elma, WA. But I heard drug and crime are the problem in this area. I fear that it is not a peaceful place to live, is it?
