would you be happy anywhere?? I live in St Louis and believe crime in unimaginable - at least 2-3-4 ever day. I want to get out of this city. Crime is in the northeast mainly, in Dallas, try the southest . I'm from Houst and lets say east and some in southeast.
we don't wear comboy hats, drive horses to town in books and tie our horses to rails in both in cities. San Antonio is growing like wildfire!
St Louis is one of the most violent cities in the US - maybe on top now.
I left Houston (humidity, humidity) for a better job in Dalls ad loved the city - easy to get around and not the 'cowboy' influence people seem to talk about. I like to travel - my children are gone - one in
Dallas one on the outskirt of St. Louis. You couldn't pull them away with a tow truck.
I was born in Houston and moved with my husband to Dallas in '82. We loved it immediately. Very few carry guns, no more than any other state and they are registered.
I'm divorced and want to travel on. Show me the perfect city, lots to do, very little crime and just an all right perfect town and get 1,000 to back you up and I can outdo that by tenfold. There are no perfect cities, choose that one that has to majority of things you enjoy doing. Period. If there's nothing to do - move. Im sure you wont be missed! I've live in St Louis for 9 nine years and decided it was not for me. Lots to do - festivals, etc. but I wanna try as many places as I can before I pass.
Wake up move and give the place a chance - you might be surprised because I hate St. Louis when I first move here. Ain't so perfect but people are nice and there are lots to do day and night.
