Review of Lebanon, New Hampshire

Life has to be better than this for the regular pe

Life is just too difficult here for the regular person, particularly if you come from any other state. I have no idea why they claim the unemployment rate is so low when there are very few jobs and even less GOOD paying positions, unless there is a hidden backdoor to employment. If you work in health care, maybe you will be okay, but the tradeoffs are just not worth it. Shopping is subpar at best in Lebanon/West Lebanon and the cost of groceries is higher than half an hour south of here in Claremont. Customer Service is non existent and there is a huge hillbilly vibe where drinking, drugging, and smoking are not only acceptable, but you won't fit in unless you do one or more of those activities. Drug crime is high for such a small population and most young people move away to pursue better economic opportunities if they can. It is very common for people to be in trouble repeatedly with the law. Going to the courthouse is not a shock for them! Also if you want just a normal life (okay apartment, gym membership) you will find yourself financially locked out because these things are quite expensive here.
