Review of Irrigon, Oregon

City of Irrigon, Oregon (97844) Comments
Star Rating - 6/15/2009
Situated on the Columbia River and laying across a branch of the Lewis and Clark trail, Irrigon is a small town that has a lot of civic pride and volunteerism. Small town values, high desert climate and a low cost of living make Irrigon a great place to retire or raise young children.
Irrigon has great parks, great river access and is 20 minutes from shopping and a large regional hospital.
Irrigon has had many recent civic improvements (new city hall, upgrades to the city water system and the Don Baxter Skate Park and is in the middle of several projects - the creation of a downtown community core area being the most notable.
Irrigon really is a city on the move. See cityofirrigon.org for more info.
