Review of Post Fal,

Used to love here but...

I spent the first 27 years of my life in Post Falls and it was a great place to grow up. The problems started to occur when people from around the country began to view the area as a great place to live. As people started to move in home prices went up dramatically, the prairie was changed from farmland to housing developments, and the area became extremely crowded. The home prices were probably the biggest problem, because there is no industry here and wages were/are not high enough to allow the average "local" to afford a home. Now as people are relaizing that maintaining there way of life is difficult due to horrid wages and lack of jobs that aren't service industry related there will probably be a sever backlash in the housing market.
