living in lockhart

a nice little town, we moved here from calif and we love it. my husband works in austin its a very easy commute on the toll way. its a pretty historic town with lots of big beautiful old houses, we can rid out bikes everywhere and the people are very friendly. you can do your banking, register your car and pay your home owners insurance in 20 minutes if you dont get to talking to someone. the library is absolutely beautiful and there are quite a few familys who have moved in from other places, a nice mix of people but still a quite old fashioned town.
