People will complain about anything, but come to find out those same complainers will find something wrong no matter where they go. Do you really think it's the place that's the problem? I've only been to Yreka once on a fire assignment and it was a fun recoup having a drink with the locals. It may be mountain folk-conservative, but like most places I've been, you find people are genuine if you give them some credit where it's due.
