My wife and I lived in Gainesville for a year in 2005 we found a small but growing city with a great industrial and manufacturing bace.We liked the collection of older homes and getting around was easy with thier bus service.The city was compacted compared to our home now in leesburg fla so you could walk to most places.The climate was good but air quality in summer was really poor.Gainesville has a good varity of parks you could spend a day just visiting them.
