Beautiful affordable beach resort

My wife and I sold our Vermont House and bought a house in Manzanita to be closer to my son in Portland, OR. We’ve been here for less than a year and so far we’re enjoying it here. The biggest plus of the fact that Manzanita is a beautiful beach resort with loads of rugged natural shoreline. It has a small but cute, upscale town with decent shopping. The real estate is pricey but much, much less than other shore towns on the ocean. In Southern California or the northeast corridor beach towns are easily over $1,000,000. It’s expensive but not that expensive. My wife and I are a 7 minute walk to the ocean. We could never afford that In most places. We walk on the beach every day and there is a nice inexpensive golf course in town as well
