Review of Green Cove Springs, Florida

Green Cove Springs a Great Smalltown Hometown
Star Rating - 9/22/2008
My hometown has everything you could want, it's small, quiet, friendly with the beautiful St.Johns riverfront for our events. We have rodeos, fairs, concerts and parades. Our housing ranges from gated golf course communities to large acreage farms and ranches, our housing is plentiful and in all price ranges from less than $100,000 for a manufactured home to $1million+ riverfront estates. We are the county seat for Clay County. Green Cove Springs is situated about 35 miles south of Jacksonville, so when you need some big city noise just head up the road, to see the Jacksonville Jaguars, the wonderful zoo, boardway theater and the Jacksonville Smphony. To the east 30 miles is "America's Oldest City" St.Augustine, that a perfect day trip with lots things to see and do. Come see us!

We just purchased our retirement home in Magnolia Point Green Cove Springs. We would like to hear more about the area good or bad. Any tips would be helpful.
