I've Lived in McHenry for over 23yrs and it is still not that bad of a place to live at. However, Crime has been on the rise, heroin and coke are a real problem in McHenry County. Surrounding cities like Woodstock and Wonder Lake have terrible crime along with gangs, they show no signs of stopping. If you ask me it is only a matter of time till almost all the suburbs of Chicago are just like the city. If you look through out McHenry we have shut down businesses and foreclosed homes with an abundance of graffiti...it's starting to look like the ghetto.
