Review of Bloomington, Indiana

Great town but beware of Catalent
Star Rating - 4/21/2019
Bloomington, IN is a great place to get an education at IU or Ivy Tech. It’s a midsize did midwestern town about an hour southwest of Indy on I-69. The major streets are 3rd which runs east & west and Walnut which runs north and south. Bloomington Transit is really good to get around town. Yellow Cab is good too. College Mall is your typical Simon Mall. Tons of restaurants. Bloomington has 2 Goodwills & a Goowill Vogue and plenty of shopping downtown on The Square. It has 5 Krogers, Aldi, Walmart, Target, 2 Fresh Thymes, BloomingFoods and a Lucky’s. The major employers are IU Health, IU, Cook Medical, Baxter BioPharma, Carlisle Brakes... and a really lousy company to avoid at all costs called “Catalent.” Warning to all: Bloomington is an awesome town, but stay away from Catalent.

why avoid Catalent? I just interviewed for the company but I know it's a Contracted Pharmaceutical company, which can be problematic, depending. I do read a lot of reviews online concerning various pharmaceutical companies since I work in the industry and have been considering other opportunities.
