I can honestly say that there aren't any bad neighborhoods here. I frequently walk to work before sunrise or after sunset, and no one has ever bothered me in the least. The city is highly walkable, with sidewalks and streetlights just about everywhere. The only bummer is the lack of independent businesses. We have every chain you can think of within 2 miles of my place, but it's the same corporate scene as everywhere else with precious little variety.
