Review of Atlanta, Georgia

Grant Park; The best small town in Atlanta
Star Rating - 8/4/2011
Walk your kids to school, walk to the park, know your neighbors. No garages here, just front porches and local eateries that are within a ten or fifteen minute walk. Historic designation, while preventing some diversity in architectural interest, insures a pleasant victorian cohesiveness. You have to drive to the grocery and the bank, but how long can that last. There is also a neighborhood farmer's market Sunday mornings with enough vendors to get gourmet popcicles and grass fed bacon...okay you can get kale too. Wonderful place to live.
The bad? Air pollution and the heat of the southeast.
