Gun clubs ruin quality of life

While Penfield is a decent town, but it is marred by gun clubs that ruin many quality of life issues, and that issue is unrestrained, destructive, harmful and health impacting gun clubs.
The Genesee Conservation League in the Panorama section of Penfield is especially disturbing. This club is allowed to shoot loud guns from 9:00am to sunset, 365 days a year. This gun club is loud and dirty. The noise generated by this club is harmful to health and quality of life. Although some people think you 'get used to it,' the harm it causes the community cannot be ignored.
Many who move into the area are surprised at the loudness and constant shooting at the gun club. The noise can be heard for miles depending on which way the wind is blowing. In certain areas you have to raise your voice to be heard over the gun shots. Sundays and holidays are no different. Gun shots from near dawn to dusk pollute the area and make outdoor activities less enjoyable, unless the sounds of relentless gun shots is your cup of tea.
The gun club is ignored by the town of Penfield and allowed to operate in a destructive manner. The club is certainly a source of lead and metals contamination, but that contamination is allowed since it is produced by guns. If the same contamination was caused by using a slingshot, the area would be considered a hazardous waste site. Once this destructive gun club eventually closes, the taxpayer will be on the hook to clean it up.
If you are considering moving to the Penfield area, be certain to look for your proximity to the gun clubs that operate in Penfield. If you buy or rent before you do your due diligence, you may be very disappointed that you and your children are subject to harmful gun shot noise each and nearly every day. The gun clubs are not responsive to demands to quiet their club and they have not tried to use technology to quiet their noise and contamination. They harm the neighborhoods surrounding them and they show no willingness to quiet their destructive ways.
