The actual average snowfall in Fletcher NC is 1" it would be lower if the very rare snowfall during the winter of 2009-2010 was not taken into consideration and factored in.

That is ABSURD...Average for what? 1 year, 5 years?, that year? Historical Seasonal Snowfall amounts range from about an inch up to 4 feet....take the records and AVERAGE THEM TOGETHER, you get a number somewhere around 12"-14" of snow on average. if if 2009-10 was dropped it would still average close to 12-14" Enough said...

Historic Average is about 13", lived here since 1996, least snowfall year was about 4-6" m...
