I agree. My husband and I transferred here from downstate in 2013. We are not stinking filthy rich nor are we snotty. 'The locals aren't very bright'...?. I teach critical thinking skills in a local college nursing program, have my doctorate and I am neither an airhead or ditzy. We have found the city to be absolutely lovely. A small town feel with wonderful shops, museums, parks, you name it! Our two adult children moved to Saratoga Springs as well and are both living in apartments a couple of blocks from Broadway, in walking distance to everything! The town now offers a wonderful dog park. Each day friendly people meet with their pets to chat and enjoy the day. Farmers markets are open on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday and Congress Park has had a wonderful facelift. Lindsays post seems vitriolic.
