What they won't tell you is the paper plant that wafts through the air everyday or that French Broad that runs through the town is filled with pollution. Just a few weeks ago over 100,000 gallons of raw sewage was dumped into the river that the paper plant dumps it's EPA approved waste. They won't tell you that crime has increased 2 fold due to the population boom and it now can take up to 45 min. to get through town. Research before you waste your money, be disappointed, and want to move out. When you do decide to move her you'll find that the inflation of prices downtown are for the tourists. Be forewarned, it's your money.
