Fowler/Fletcher area is definitely ghetto. I think the school is technically on the top edge of the city of Tampa but this review probably belongs in the Temple Terrace section lol... Downtown Tampa is actually very clean and well maintained compared to other large cities I’ve been to.

You really can’t judge Tampa by the USF area. That’s the ghetto. That’s where all the hookers come out at night and armed robberies happen several times a month. The whole area has the worst crime rate in the county and it’s not even part of the city of Tampa and is a 10 mile drive from the actual city. ?? I can’t believe you just wrote a review of Tampa based on the ghetto you lived in.

st pete is just as bad or worse according to the crime stats. drive down 34th st s & all the side streets off of it. drug deals going on, panhandlers, & prostitutes all loitering, abandoned houses,or occupied houses that look abandoned, garbage...! & it gets worse every year.

Fletcher Ave west of N. Boulevard (west of I-275) is nice and a safe place to live. There are beautiful, wooded subdivisions. People are friendly and care about their neighbors. Close proximity to shopping, restaurants, various business, churches and the interstate
