Review of Bandon, Oregon

perfect climate
Star Rating - 11/10/2012
The rain is Beautiful as it creates lush green grasses and tall thick pines reaching to the coast. You experience every season here but never in a harsh setting. The snow comes enough to look like a winter wonderland but never enough to shuvel.
The sun comes out all year to allow for a walk along the Beautiful beaches or to catch fresh crabs for dinner. The locals call Bandon part of the bannana belt due to the climate but I've never seen a single bannana tree. There are lots of cranberry bpgs built by farmers wild berries growing everywhere and to my surprise many artichoke plants in neighborhood yards. The climate is rarely extreme in any way. We get some occasional gusts of wind in the winter but the rest of the year its perfectly calm or fabulous kite flying weather.

This was likely written by a realtor. The wind is constant out of the NW all summer, making Bandon feel colder than the 62 degree summer highs. Snow is about once per 5 ;years.

The wind is NOT "constant out of the NW all summer"! Snow is NOT only once per 5 years. I LIVE here and can attest to that.
