Review of Reno, Nevada

Reno Lifestyle - Why I love it here.
Star Rating - 3/21/2016
The title says it all, I Love Reno. I moved here in 1996, 20 years ago and have not regretted it one bit. I came here from the midwest (Chicago/Milwaukee area) where I was born and grew-up. Since coming out west and settling in Reno I have been back twice to visit family. I left mainly due to the winters, minus 20 degrees and winters that lasted 5 months were just too much.

The Reno lifestyle is moderation in everything. Four seasons and none of them are to long, to cold or to hot. No humidity. No bugs. No fleas. No traffic jams. 20 minutes gets you just about anywhere in a car in Reno. There are plenty of outdoor sporting activities, it's no surprise that Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse and Scheels are all located here. Summer brings a host of outdoor festivals and activities along with a good nightlife scene for all ages. Then there is Lake Tahoe a mere 40 minutes from downtown Reno. When winter does finally get here there are 6 ski resorts within an hour and a half, including Squaw Valley and Heavenly.

I could go on but I think you get the point. I love Reno. I read a lot of negative things people say about Reno and all I have to say to them is: Remember wherever you go there you are.
