Review of Ukiah, California

A horrible place for kids, seniors, and maybe you!
Star Rating - 5/19/2020
Ukiah is a dump. Government officials are foolish lazy overpaid losers.

Arrogant homeless do whatever wherever they want.

The Palace Hotel, a dangerous and decrepit building sits as the crown jewel in the middle of town.

Drug needles and trash are everywhere. Vehicles and boats get dumped anywhere.

The town has little pride, no tourism, no jobs, no solutions, no direction, and no future.

And good luck finding a doctor with a rating more than 3.

There is not enough money on the planet to support all of the charity needs.
Give them a dollar, and they ask for 2.

The kids are illiterate because the school system is a failure.

The local newspaper is thin as toilet paper, and it's only good when used as such.

The town seems concerned with only one thing, marijuana.

There is a welcome sign out in front of Plowshares, which feeds the homeless but cares nothing about the community.

In other words, good luck moving to Ukiah. You will need it.

Unless you are homeless.

Ukiah is a dump. Government officials are foolish lazy overpaid losers.

It’s over-run with arrogant homeless that do whatever wherever they want.

The Palace Hotel, a broken down, dangerous and decrepit building sits as the crown jewel right in the middle of town.

Ukiah’s claim to fame is a walkway along the railroad tracks called the rail train, where you can get mugged, step in homeless feces, or get pricked by a drug needle.

Drug needles and trash are everywhere. Vehicles and boats get dumped anywhere.

The town has little pride, no tourism, no jobs, no solutions, no direction, and no future.

And good luck finding a doctor with a rating more than 3.

There is not enough money on the planet to support all of the charity needs, and they are always needy. Give them a dollar, and then they ask for 2.

The local newspaper is as thin as toilet paper, and it is only good when used as such.

The town seems concerned with only one thing, marijuana.

And there is a welcome sign out in front of Plowshares, which feeds the homeless but cares nothing about the community.

In other words, good luck moving to Ukiah. You will need it. Unless you are homeless. Then it’s great!

You can't disagree with my statements. They are FACTS, not my OPINIONS! You may not like the FACTS, but my statements are accurate, and if I am wrong, which I am not, then state why here. You can't. FACTS are FACTS. INDISPUTABLE TRUTHS!

Ukiah is dead. It will soon be a ghost town. Here is why, in a nutshell. No Jobs. No growth. No housing. No future. Hugely overpaid local public officials make more than cabinet members of the White House. Simply, the money paid for all local government officials will drain the town dry. The homeless population has grown so large that now, it cannot and will not ever be controlled. There is just too much pot. I am not against pot, but I am against the town going to pot, and it is. Drive down State street. Do you see one single tourist? One? Nope, and you won’t ever, because there is nothing to see here. And here is the clincher. Good people, qualified people, talented people are all leaving because they have had enough, and they can’t stand it any more. One by one, businesses are being closed. People are leaving. The only ones that will be left will be the homeless, and Plowshares to feed them, and MCAVHN to provide them free drug needles. Sound disgusting? Well, it is disgusting. SO, why am I writing this? Because, a town that was once voted best to move to is now the best to steer clear of. And I blame everyone. The politicians. The people. The apathy. So, I’d dump everyone on the city council and board of supervisors. Get rid of each and every one of them. Give them all the boot. And don’t hear it from me. Hear it from the Grand Jury a year ago. 6/2020. And I quote, The Grand Jury finds that the supervisors’ activities are largely responsive instead of forward-thinking, and that the board “reacts to crises as they arise,” critiquing the county representatives for failing to “establish and publish strategic county-wide policies with effective long term goals that address county-wide issues of public safety, health, economic, environmental and other needs of our communities, as it is charged to do.” The jury finding notes this approach creates gaps in governance, and leaves much power the CEO. The efficacy of the Board of Supervisors and the role of the county’s CEO has been the subject of much public discussion in Mendocino County, since a series of supervisors absences, management turnover (particularly in the cannabis permitting program), and after a series of significant raises for the supervisors, CEO, and management staff. The Grand Jury places the bulk of the blame on the supervisors for the lack of long-term strategic planning, noting the Board has effectively “abdicated” its role in creating governance plans — resulting in “an enormous responsibility” placed on the CEO. The report calls for the board to be more responsive to public concerns, encourages the supervisors to set timelines and benchmarks for directives to the CEO and staff, and requests more detailed updates than currently provided in the CEO’s reports. GET THE PICTURE????

To the people that clicked on the disagree button: Not one single person has stated which statement they disagree with. Well, which statement is incorrect? ...or are you just upset because I am right and you still have to live there???? Well??? You can't. Go take a look at the daily police reports in the UDJ. There is your proof!!! Don't hear it from me. Go read it and weep!!
