All that is not really true. Sure there are those people, but most everyone in Johnson City is friendly and minds their own business. It is just a beautiful place with a great view of the Appalachian Mountains. Sure the city is small, but that doesn't mean that it is not a good place to live. I moved here about 5 years ago and was welcomed by the community.
