Impressions of Lincoln City Oregon

We have been settling into this little community of 8000 people for a few months. We have found the majority of people here to be friendly. I believe part of the reason for this is that this is a very service and tourist oriented city and if you are not friendly you wont be hired or wont be around long. I have also heard that the winters can be pretty wild with the powerful wind and rain. Lincoln City gets about 97 inches a year. Wow. There are a few months in the summer that are actually quite nice. But if you can weather the weather and take it in stride you are welcomed by incredibly gorgeous views of the coast from here to Newport. The local Devils lake is very beautiful as well.
