Review of Blountville, Tennessee

Great climate in TN
Star Rating - 12/17/2007
My wife and I had lived in Upstate New York (snow-belt)for many years and then Key Largo, Florida for 5 years. East Tennessee is the best of both worlds: 1" to 5" of snow per winter and no extended periods of 90 degree weather in the summers.
This is due to the higher elevations of the beautiful mountains in this area. We've always loved boating and have appreciated the Finger Lakes of New York and the protected ocean area of the Florida Keys, but the mountain lakes of East Tennessee are something to behold.

Hello Bob, I read your comment about Blountville, TN. I am from Auburn, NY originally but l live in NJ now. We are looking to relocate to Blountville and I was happy to read your comments! We found a townhome on Eagle View Dr. that we are interested in. We also love boating and had a cruiser on Lake Hopatcong and then Stony Point on the Hudson. Maybe we'll meet if it all works out! Small world! :-)
