That's the opening phrases you will say to your self every time you come to Citrus County. I have lived her 21 years (my whole life) and I love it, my Husband and I just got married in November and plan to start a family here. Theirs not much for the younger population but "Tampa", "Clearwater", "Orlando" even "Ocala" is only about 1 hour away. Now for the older population, I think we have everything here that they would like. We have lots of wildlife, swimming with the manatees, bird watching, kayaking, and so much more. For those of you who like antiques well your in the right place, in "Crystal River" theirs just about one on every street corner, we even have one at our local mall "2" to be exact. Citrus County in general is a great place to be, its like one of those Towns in the movies where "every one knows everybody" kinda thing. I hope you enjoy your stay,
