Memphis is super cheap to live in - while there is crime here just like every major city in the country u can live like a king for hardly nothing compared to most other major metropolitan cities - I’m not scared by a little crime - it all simply comes down to respect - respect the people and they won’t bother u and will respect u - all the BS war stories about omg u gonna get shot just by walking down the street in Memphis is so laughable - god how do these soft people survive anywhere ? I love my city of Memphis and I live well here considering Memphis is in the top 5 cheapest and most affordable metropolitan cities to live in , in America - so will a little crime scare me away no way - I see people flocking from Memphis where u can own a nice middle class home for 7-850 a month to go to cities like Seattle or Atlanta and pay 2000 a month for a one bedroom apartment - sad why would I ever pay more for less - that’s foolish and just economically ignorant ! Memphis is home to 3 Fortune 500 companies one of which literally almost employees half the city being FED EX ! Wanna love comfortorably and not struggle to live in a middle class home or high class then Memphis Tn is the place to be !! Fact ! If u are easily scared or deterred by a little crime then by all meens stay away and go to church lol it’s not for u - but there’s plenty of money and opportunities here for those who wanna live nice for literally being in the top 5 cheapest cities to live in -! I love Memphis me if u don’t that your loss and sad that u that scared to live here !
