Review of Sequim, Washington

Don't believe the latest rave reviews!

Take note of all the recent positive remarks about Sequim. Most all are either realtors, business owners, or local tribal members who own and dictate to this entire town, or transplant Democrats who are seeking more of the same company. Local people are leaving in droves, getting good money for their homes from democrats who are tainting this area, and heading to law-abiding and less corrupt towns.
We lie directly beside Port Angeles. Look at the wreck that town has become. It's already filtered into Sequim. This town is going the way of Issaquah and Bellevue...packed with homes too expensive for the local youth to buy, and pavement replacing meadows. It's a disgusting change.

Thank you so much for your contributions Don. Reading what you've written has settled it for me and my family. I'm a Democrat! We're moving to Sequim! And fwiw (and this is true), I have a large family in Mexico and plan to move them to Sequim as soon as possible. Thanks for your input. Without reading it we probably would have relocated to the Great Lakes. Cheers! We

You sound more comfortable in Iowa. Have you checked Sperling for Iowa?

The fact the Washington is, and has been, a blue state seems to have been missed by you. I lived in Sequim and Port Angeles for over 28 years, have been gone 3 years, and look forward to returning this year. Yes it is growing and changing just like every city in our country. Maybe you should try the less populated red states in the middle of our country. One of the great things about our country is if you don’t like where you live, you can always move to a state/city more to your liking where like minded people share your politics and views. Why move to a democratic state when you clearly do not like democrats? Every state/city has both good and bad points, no place is perfect, it is choice we have to decide where we live and it is a personal choice based on many factors. If you don’t like where you are, enact change instead of complaining. Sequim is one of the few places left where you can visit a 6000 ft glacier and the ocean all in the same day, not to mention a rain forest, multiple islands, metropolitan cities, and a foreign country all accessible in a day trip. Quality of life is hard to beat in Sequim.
