pretty nice for a small town

If you enjoy small Midwestern towns or cities, Sylvania, Ohio, could fill the bill. It has a noteworthy school system, little-to-average traffic, and a great library. I think many residents are concerned with raising families, so you might not find enough nightlife. Check out its cost of living with Sperlings.
