Review of Plainfield, Illinois

Our Windy City
Star Rating - 11/30/2006
Plainfield is a suburb of Chicago about 40 miles southwest of Lake Michigan. It is growing fast and is somewhat famous. We had a very detructive tornado many years back. Well, the area is still very windy. Holiday yard decorations blow all over the place, wind chimes are never still, and snow drifts nicely across most of the roads. Cycling is quite a workout in the summer months. If you like wind then move to Plainfield.
