I am a native of Lenox. Moved out to the hill towns of the Berkshire to build my house. Lovely place and area. Have traveled extensively across the U.S. and have found nothing like it. Of course, being beautiful it is also touristy but if that doesn’t bother you then you will love it! My husband and I are trying to move out west to be closer to our kids. If you have any words of wisdom, please let me know. Cannot seem to find a reasonable priced (but beautiful) area near our daughter and son in CA, OR or surrounding states.
