Review of Alturas, California

I am considering buying an acreage north of Alturas, could anyone tell me what the water table is for drilling? I would appreciate it. Also are there alot of timber 8 miles north. Thanks any info would be appreciative.

Jeff, the general water table depths are 200 to 500 feet. However, in some areas it could be 1,300 to 1,500 feet. If you're looking for reasonably priced land, check out www.landelevated.com

I am a local ALTURAS RE broker: www.alturas-ca-Real-estate.com The domestic wells average depth is 300’ Agricultural wells very but are mostly deeper We have excellent water There are a few large timber properties available Many timbered recreational/residential properties
