We have lived in Lakeside for 8 years and love it. Our home has a nice big yard, views of rocky El Capitan, and you can hear the coyotes at night. Just 30 miles east of San Diego, we enjoy warmer than the coast weather and have access to horseback riding and many trails for hiking.
We have recently become involved with the horse community and participate in the annual Rodeo and the National National Day of the American Cowboy event held at our local feed store. People know each other, so it has more of a small town feel.
