lost job 6 months a go - i grew up in yonkers ny and moved upstate 23 years ago just sold house and nervous about where to move - went to north carolina wife and i to possibly relocate but didnt work out -thinking about fla as wife family is there mom/dad/brother/sister/nephews/nieces and we have a couple friends very nervous as i still have 3 adoult chrildren with us all in their 20's n they dont want to go to fla any suggestions and also do u think its a good move

Not sure if you're still looking since this your's an old posting but I wouldn't advise Florida to anyone.. Jobs scarce, apartments pricey & Florida is not as inexpensive as people are led to believe just because there is no state tax they do get you in the end.. Been here 20 yrs & its not getting any easier..
