There are trees everywhere. The air is clean, sweet smelling compared to larger cities.

Winters are harsh. The winter of 2007-8 dropped 198 inches of snow on us.

Heating is expensive, as most people rely on oil. Electric is actually more expensive in this environment. Learn to burn wood if you move here.

In town, property taxes will take a large amount of your paycheck... the small population results in larger taxes for maintenance of roads and such.
