If you enjoy being near a city, but having the small town feel where running into people you know is normal and even if you don't personally know people, it is OK to have a friendly conversation with those around you, Wylie is a great place to live.
The schools are well above average academically while still teaching values like respect and responsibility effectively. Everyone from the Superintendent down within the school system personally engage with children at all levels. Expectations are set high, and instruction is provided to allow kids to reach and surpass those expectations.
