What a does not have to offer

I grew up in New Castle and am sad to say I will never go back. New Castle has no jobs and is close to ghost town. The town is one big courthouse,prison or work release program. The system has gone to "pot" it seems that everyone that stays in the town ends up paying for it with their freedom. The police, sheriff, probation and Judges seem to make up most of the towns working population. You would think that the law makers would get that the system isn't working and its getting worse. The crime rate shows it, New Caslte keeps arresting the same people taking what little bit of money they have for bonds lawyers etc. turning them back to the streets with out any kind of rehabilitation only to return to jail. New Castle has become a place to die or go to prison, most of the population has no way to get out of the town. No job to work to save up to leave, only idle time, once the police get their names they are marked only to be arrested over and over. I was one of the lucky ones who got out, not without a trip to prison. I had a job, rasied a daugther who graduated from a 4 years college and owned a home. I feel on some very rough times I lost my job, home, and my husband of twenty years died, the only thing New Castle gave to me was a felony and a prison sentence. I am starting over and doing very well living away from my loved ones that still live in the area not by their choice they can't afford to get out. So Long New Castle thanks for nothing....... Not even a nice place to visit.
