Picayune is overall a decent place to live. Beware of constractors. Over all they are good people however they hire all of the dope heads and excons that will Rob you blinds. Seems like a great part of the population is on meth and or herion. Jobs are unheard of. But if you're retired and wanna a nice piece of property for cheap and stay to yourself then this is the place. Gas is cheap. Stores are ok.
