We moved from Southern CA, we first lived at beach for many years in SD, then high desert (Hesperia). BEST MOVE I'VE EVER MADE IN MY LIFE!!
The weather is great, the people are amazingly kind! No road rage! People drive right and so pleasant. School are GREAT!! HOUSING AND COST OF LIVING IS GREAT. Then when you want amazing city life, Austin downtown is 15 min drive.:) NEVER LOOKING BACK! !

I grew up in Southern California. I’m heading out on my own after a 35 yr marriage. My sister lives in Austin so I’m moving close and have decided on Round Rock. Any best places to look in that area. Thanks. Susan
