Berthoud is a beautiful little town with truly terrific people. However, if you are considering moving to Berthoud, beware that the water rates here are higher than I have ever seen anywhere in the USA. On top of the sewage rates of about 70 dollars a month, our water bill is usually over 250 dollars a month for a small 3 bedroom house in town in the summer. The water rates outside of town are even higher. A great town, but a huge water bill!!!
