Elmhurst is a FANTASTIC town to live in. My husband and I both grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and have lived in Elmhurst for the past 5 years. We feel incredibly safe here, the houses and neighborhoods are beautiful, the people are friendly, and it's wonderful to have such good neighbors. People watch out for each other here, they teach their children to be respectful of others and things. Families are "normal" doing family activities together all the time. We don't have children, so I can't speak firsthand about the schools. There are so many parks and trails to enjoy. The police care about keeping the town safe. I truly can't say enough good things about Elmhurst. Bottom line: it's friendly, safe, tranquil, beautiful...just a GREAT place to call home!
