Quality of life in Poky

yes life is cheap in Pocahontas where I reside...great place to raise kids. County population did not decrease from 10% but rather 16%. We still have the fastest declining pop stats in Iowa. Jobs are low paying. Poky is a bedroom community and if you want decent paying jobs you travel to Storm Lake, Spencer or Fort Dodge. Best thing about Poky is life is very slow paced, competitve prices in the only grocery and cheap house to buy but the community is such a short distance to the larger communities
