Review of San Dim,

Good and Bad
Star Rating - 2/25/2010
Best to live here December through June. July through November is too hot, too dry, too smoggy. Best jobs are an hour+ away. Commute time decreases quality of life. True, you have the beauty of the mountains, the desert, the seaside--all 1 to 1 1/2 hours away, but you have to tolerate dense traffic and crowds everywhere you go. Everything is overpriced, especially property, so many people rent, which makes for more transience in neighborhoods. We are so busy making ends meet, we have little time or money left over to enjoy recreation or entertainment that is so plentiful in Southern California. It's a carrot-on-a-stick experience living here. All that said, San Dimas is a jewel among its surrounding sister cities.
