This review is spot on for visitors. That's how Bend gets you pulled in. You come for a few days, a week, and you think it's paradise. You start thinking "how can I live here" ... and if you own a home in some part of the country where they cost more, you realize you can make a profit selling your place and buying a place here. Then you move here and find out what it's really like. Just make sure you spend alot of time here before you uproot yourself. There is a reason the saying "the grass is always greener" is still used today.
