Can agree with most of this review and some of the comments. I'm a military brat that grew up in the area during the 2000's. It is definitely clicky. Bars seem to be the big attraction. Enjoyed the city when I was growing up, but times have changed since I left. Occasionally you ran into someone very rude. Used to be able to stand up for yourself in those situations and still be safe, but that has changed since crime has gotten bad. Lots of people moving in from Milwaukee and Chicago bringing in crime and drugs. It seems like there is a shooting every week. The judges are just letting criminals go free and they back on the street to cause more problems. I remember there hardly being any crime when we moved there in the early 2000's. The city needs to clean itself up before I would consider moving my family back.

I could not agree more. We made the mistake of spending a month here. The bluffs and the river are so lovely that you think the people must be too. People from Wisconsin are so nice right? NOT!! I am shocked at what A-holes they are! It’s our first time here, and it will definitely be our last. I can’t count the times we have been screamed at, threatened, belittled, and treated downright rudely in the last month. One mean bitch even punched our car! We have been countless places in the world, and to me the only place that rivals the filth of these people is Florida. What is the matter with the people in this town? I agree on the herpes reference. I will never recommend this place with these horrid people in it to anyone!!
