I grew up in this town and couldn't wait to get out! Taxes are ridiculous and the town council and the mayor can't get along. It doesn't matter who the mayor is either. Since the major highway 78 was built the garbage from the cities have moved in which has brought crime and gangs. The only real employment you will find is either going towards Allentown or going into Hunterdon County, NJ. Any small business that attempts to revive the S. Main Street area closes within months. But I heard there's huge plans for a Ferris wheel in the Union Square area? Stupid and silly ideas from the "leaders" in this town. The only good thing I can say about this town is the school system. Other than that, good luck if you want to move to this town!
