Why in the world...

...Would anyone choose to move to Ashland? I moved from Wilmington, NC about 7 months ago, not by choice. There's not a whole lot to do around here, and unless you grew up here, its hard to fit in.
the one and only plus side? The scenery is gorgeous. I miss the beach, but these hills are pretty spectacular.

You're not looking. There are plenty of things to do. Many are free. Are you sure you're talking about Ashland, KY?
