Review of Los Angel,

40 years ago maybe..
Star Rating - 9/24/2018
A tangle of squabbling 3rd world minorities, along with a healthy helping of hoards and hoards of homeless, crumbling infrastructure, parched landscapes, along with Chinese "investors", (air b/b speculators), squeezing middle class out of the housing market, all makes for an unsavory recipe. 100 miles of faceless strip malls in every direction. An impending sense of doom and alienation hangs over like a pall.

I'm a leftist so I think this comment might be rude to immigrants because some of my friends have cultural backgrounds. Sorry that you didn't like it though.

Wow! I was born and raised here and you've got it down exactly. It's just horrible what the Armenians have done to Glendale and now they're trying to take over the San Fernando Valley. The FBI came down on them about five years ago because of their organized criminal activity, but with Chain Migration, you get whole villages coming here. They group up and drive out the old-time residents. L.A. has become a war zone.

LA has many problems & as I commented on another review all the people I know there have either thrived or ended up bankrupt. Nevada is not much better. It’s cheap because it’s an undesirable moonscape & because the US taxpayer had to foot the bill for re-plumbing the rivers of the SW. Las Vegas is one of the ugliest cities on earth. It’s like a tacky trashy theme park surrounded by track housing & strip malls.

40 years ago it was horrible. The air pollution was 10x worse. Crime was 20x worse. Public transportation was almost nonexistent. Downtown was an embarrassment. LA is so much better now.
