Review of Glendo,

Great place to raise a family
Star Rating - 1/28/2011
I call Glendora, CA the Mayberry of the greater LA area. It's nestled in near the San Gabriel Mts just on the edge of LA County. The crime rate for LA is extremely low. The schools are good, and people here are easy to get along with. I'm involved with the local softball league, so I interact with quite a few people on an annual basis. Jobs seem as plentiful or better than most places right now if you don't mind driving in traffic. Traffic... there's the major downer of LA living, that and the cost of living. Glendora isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for I think for this area of So Cal. So Cal is great for weather, activities, restaurants, night light, but too many people and back-assward politics have turned the Sunshine State into something that resembles a Communist Nation rather than a state of the Republic. The cost of living is just too outrageous for an average family. I'm surprised at how many people still live here.

Excuse me but have you ever been to a communist nation, I grew up in the USSR as a child and moved to Glendora California as an adult. This idea of any slightly socialized programs being "communist" is utterly insane to me. Even in my youth of a completely authoritarian regime, my family worked way less for way more benefit and product. So can you shut up about California being communist and try to think about what it's like to not be a rich idiot.
